We enjoy new roads, beautiful nature and sighs. But we also happy to visit different concerts and shows. So we were lucky to find a event that we couldn’t miss. Lindsey Stirling in Istanbul!
Composer, violinist, dancer and a very nice girl who plays tender and quick-tempered melodies, combining pure violin sounds with modern electronic music.
Istanbul is a city of traffic jams. So if you’re travelling by car and do not want to miss the event, you should start your way three hours before 🙂 Moreover, there are a lot of places to have a walk.
So we did. Right before the concert, we had a chance to walk around (and inside) beautiful Zorlu Center. It is not only a shopping mall, but also a ground for different concerts!
It is really huge: concert hall, cinema, open air concert spot, underground parking, dozens of shops, cafes, beauty salons, parks, fountains – everything assembled into a single construction!
After a long walk, we picked up our tickets (bought in advance via Ticket Master).
We’re inside modern and beautiful hall.
As in her videos, Lindsey rapidly breaks into the scene and starts creating delightful madness of colours, sounds and exciting moves.
We didn’t expect the concert to be so vivid and rich.
We saw a solo… Lindsey showed us her skill of accompanying herself with the help of sophisticated sound recording device laying under her feet.
We saw a team work.
Magnifying dances under the moon…
The battle of keyboard player and violinist…
And even a song!
Lindsey was very friendly while talking to audience and sharing her impressions of Istanbul and Turkey. She even tried to learn some Turkish words 😀 She is a very adorable and positive person 🙂 If you like her music, it is strongly recommended to track her concerts and visit one of her those held nearby.
Let’s finish our story with one more beautiful and popular composition of Lindsey – Crystallize. This composition perfectly combines soft violin melody with hard dubstep tones 🙂
