I’ve never been a fan of different bazaars… In my childhood, while living in a very small town, I was helping my mother to carry packages from our town market… But while living in a big city, like Novosibirsk, I have forgot about such places as bazaar at all 🙂
The life always introduces something new to us. And some things are being re-discovered again. While we were living in Tbilisi, locals insistently advised us to buy fruits and vegetables on a city bazaar instead of supermarkets. So we did 🙂

We were lucky to settle near the central market of Tbilisi. It is the place where you can buy everything: fruits, vegetables, meat, fish, candies, clothes and even small appliances.
The most exciting and unusual thing in bazaar is that you can touch and taste everything you see. Choose the most delicious tomatoes, apples or pears…
Churchkhela (It is a traditional sausage-shaped candy. The main ingredients are grape must, nuts and flour. Almonds, walnuts, hazel nuts and sometimes raisins are threaded onto a string, dipped in thickened grape juice or fruit juices and dried in the shape of a sausage.)…
…or pastila (Another traditional fruit confectionery. It can be described as “small squares of pressed and dried fruit paste”)…
Smell spices…
It is hard to get through pedestrian subway as there are massive sales of clothes inside!
The atmosphere and feelings are very strange. Now, while living in Antalya, where local markets are the part of city life, it is hard to imagine that some time ago we were buying vegetables packed into boxes and plastic bags 🙂

You will hardly find a parking place in the neighbourhood. It is overfilled by cars.
