The winter has come. All skiers in the world are searching for a good place for skiing. Here are some cheap and amazing places to review.
Georgia
- Gudauri: a really large Ski Resort that can suit everyone’s needs! The first level pistes are good for beginners and amateurs. More experienced skiers can find lots of red and black pistes and lots of freeride opportunities (including snowcat drops and heliski). More details here.
- Bakuriani: a small but cosy Ski Resort. You will reach the top with three cablecars. Not much pistes here, but the place is nice. Be careful, in windy and warm weather pistes become suitable for speed ice skating 😀 More details here.
- Gordedzi: newly built Ski Resort in north Ajaria (Georgian region). We found it on the stage of construction. There are couple photos in our article. The resort started working last year and is said to be working now. The season starts on December 24th 2016 and lasts till March 26th 2017. The height difference is 690 m. Daily ski pass costs about 10 EUR. It is a really wild place. Tell us if you visit it. It should be really amazing!
Azerbaijan
- Shakhdag:is a really luxury Ski Resort! Quickly developing. Each year they add more and more pistes. In the lack of snow, they use snow guns that are really numerous there. Hotels around are not just 5 stars, they can be easily granted with 6 stars or more 😀 More about Shakhdag here.
Serbia
- Kapaonik: is the largest Ski Resort of Serbia. The season is running here! Here is a small article about Kopaonik.
Turkey
- Davraz: a small ski resort near warm Antalya. You won’t probably go here specially, but if you live in Antalya or if you were lucky to visit Antalya in winter – take your chance! Detailed description of the resort is here.
